The
North Carolina Fair House Center Recovers $70,000 For Complainant In
Reasonable Accommodation Case Analysis
(June 22, 2007)
I am proud to report that the case reported in this article was a
case filed by the NC Fair Housing Center. The Complainant recovered
$70,000. This was the last case resolved by the Center before
we closed our Doors. Until the end we were involved in cases
that set precedent and clarified Fair Housing Issues. We are
continuing our work through consulting with Legal Services groups,
FHAP and FHIP agencies and other groups interested in pursuing fair
housing and equal opportunity for all persons.
