Systemic devaluation of property in Black neighborhoods are robbing individuals, families and neighborhoods of the resources they need to climb economic and social ladders. Homeowners have lost $156 billion by living in a 'black neighborhood.' Andre M. Perry, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution will present findings of the groundbreaking study on housing devaluation and offer ways to restore the value that is extracted by racism.
