Arthur L. Green Civil and Human Rights Award
Recipient: John E. Johnson, Executive Director, Michigan Department of Civil Rights
John E. Johnson was selected as the recipient of the Arthur L. Green Civil and Human Rights Award, honoring his lifelong advocacy for civil and human rights and his tireless efforts to advance racial and social justice. Bill Hale Award
Recipient: Tejash Sanchala, Executive Director, Westchester County Human Rights Commission
Tejash Sanchala received the Bill Hale Award in recognition of his leadership in promoting civil and human rights and developing innovative programs to safeguard the rights of all people. Individual Achievement Award
Recipient: Tarnya Whitmire, EEO Enforcement Director, South Carolina Human Affairs Commission
Tarnya Whitmire was selected as the recipient of the Individual Achievement Award for her ongoing commitment to equal opportunity and civil rights. Through her leadership, she has created and implemented high-caliber programs that support civil rights enforcement professionals and the communities they serve. International Award
Recipient: Jamil Dakwar, Director, Human Rights Program, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
Jamil Dakwar received the International Award for his exceptional work advancing civil and human rights on a global scale. His leadership and advocacy have strengthened international human rights frameworks and inspired collaboration across borders. President’s Award
Recipients: Jean Kelleher, IAOHRA Past President and Cal Williams, Human Rights Advocate
